I believe my path into leading a choir is completely fate driven. At the age of 26, after completing my Masters degree in music, I persued a career as a West End pianist, playing the piano for the hit West End musical CHICAGO.
My life then took an unexpected turn when a serious injury to my arms steered my piano career over to teaching singing and music therapy. With a new found passion for healing through music and vocals.....The Rhythm of Life Choir begun.
As well as the choir I teach singing and piano at Homewood school and am also the proud mum of two beautiful boys Harry (8) and Elliot (4).
The Rhythm of Life Choir is a warm and friendly choir. We get together each week to enjoy good company and have a good old sing! From Musical Theatre to Gospel, Popular and a selection of fab African songs, we sing songs that really lift the spirit!
I currently run two choirs, an evening choir in Tenterden and a daytime choir in Benenden. Both choirs have a complete mix of wonderful people with an age range from 21 to 85! We like to make all new members feel welcome and pride ourselves on making everyone feel special.
